Monkey Messenger for your taste

As Vinícius suggested, it's now possible to customize the contact list size:

I love this features but I have a suggestion:

If I set the icons at 16px then don't display the avatar but display the status icon. Right now it's not possible to see the status of a contact if my contact has a long nickname and the size is 16px.

Another suggestion is to change the size of the text, small is too small. and x-small is almost unreadable. In my copy I changed the nickname to medium, normal or whatever you want to call it and ths status/PM to small.

another suggestion:

Hide empty groups, if a group doesn't have online contacts then hide it instead of showing the group name.

And for some reason the Notification plugin is not compiled.

just installed the new rev.154 and 1st i liked the trash button next to the username really simple and nice, about the problem that my contact list was empty i turned on "show offline" on gconf and now he shows all my contacts but, all of them are marked as offline, even the online ones. if i open the conversarion window with an online person, on the conversation window is marked as available but on the contactlist is still offline. hope this bug get fixed soon

This behavior is weird as the events on the contact list are the same events used at the conversation. Which version of mono and gtk-sharp do you have?
I will take a look on the code and see why this might be happening. But it's weird, never happened to me in the million times i tested monkey messenger :)

im not in my computer right now so i cant see whats my mono version, but i use ubuntu feisty... its really very strange people not showing as online on the contact list. two thing i think you should do to help the improvements on monkey messenger is create a forum and inplement some better debug output on the terminal. this would help people finding where the problems are happening.
thank you
